Funke Akindele Unveils First Look at ‘The Four’ Ahead of December Cinema Release
Nollywood filmmaker and actress Funke Akindele has unveiled the first look at her upcoming movie, The Four: No One Fights Alone, ahead of its nationwide cinema release in December.
Akindele shared the first-look images on X, giving audiences an early glimpse of the film’s characters and visual direction. She also confirmed that the movie will open in cinemas across Nigeria on December 11, 2026.
The Four brings together a star-studded cast led by Akindele and featuring Bisola Aiyeola, Chioma Akpotha, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Timini Egbuson and Lateef Adedimeji.
The cast also includes Ali Nuhu, Uzor Arukwe, Ronke Oshodi-Oke, Waje and Wunmi Toriola, adding some of Nollywood’s established and contemporary talents to the production.
The film follows four women whose friendship and loyalty are put to the test after they leave their community for the city. Their journey becomes tied to a fight for the future of a young man they care deeply about.
The newly released images provide a first glimpse into the characters and setting as anticipation builds ahead of the theatrical release.
With its ensemble cast and Akindele’s involvement as a filmmaker, The Four: No One Fights Alone is among the Nollywood titles attracting attention ahead of the 2026 festive cinema season.
The movie is scheduled to arrive in cinemas nationwide on December 11, 2026.
